Katherine Varga's plays explore her love-hate relationship with the Internet, sometimes with puppets. She likes writing queer characters, fantastical situations, and quippy dialogue. Her work has been described as "implying all men are serial killers."
She was born & raised in Hard Hittin' New Britain, CT and currently lives in Rochester, NY. Her day job involves typing very fast as a real-time captionist for the Rochester Institute of Technology / National Technical Institute for the Deaf. She also enjoys working as a teaching artist for Writers & Books, adjunct professor for RIT/NTID, and theatre writer/critic for Rochester City News. On an ideal day, you'll find her biking to the public library. She loves supporting other writers: click here to see her writing tutoring resume. |
